Can't get it started

Hi Andrew,

I'd love to try out your program.   I'm also involved in a school based astronomy program, so your program is very appealing, especially if the Mac version is functional.

However, when I click on the file to run I get a Type Mismatch error?

I've tried changing properties so it is run as an administrator?

Any suggestions?

Hi David,

A Type Mismatch error is nothing to do with admin privs, but is a mismatch between data types, e.g.
trying to comapare an array with a scalar.

Are you running the Win64 version or the Mac version?

Either way, I uploaded a new version this morning (11 Jan) that certainly works from Go to Whoa!
on my PC.

Hi Andrew,

I downloaded the 11.1.16 version.

It loads this time, but..

Select Bias, Dark & Flats are greyed out.

When I select light files it says 6 light files selected, extracting file dimensions... and then stops.

If I click on Process Images and give it a file name, it then stops at 1% on the progress bar.
My fits files are out of a QSI583.

Hi Andrew,
  I have just started to get into this too.
  I'm having exactly the same issue as David, in that after hitting the 'process' button, it goes a bit wild with memory and CPU (in task manager), then seems to release everything and sit at 1% until I hit exit.

  I have the log file here, but that doesn't really seem to suggest anything to me!  (Hopefully attached!)
